What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
Our General Pest Control work addresses common pest concerns identified in the service agreement, such as inspection, pest identification, and treatment for agreed target pests. The written estimate or service record describes the areas, methods, and products included.
Exclusions may include pests or locations not listed, structural repairs, sanitation or moisture correction, wildlife removal, and specialized treatments unless we approve them in a separate written agreement. We will explain when a concern falls outside the agreed scope.
Pesticides are used only as allowed by their labeling and applicable law. Applicators must meet Connecticut certification requirements under Connecticut General Statutes § 22a-54, and products must be registered as required by § 22a-61.
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Worker Protection Standard, 40 CFR Part 170, applies when relevant; pesticide container and disposal rules under 40 CFR Part 165 also apply. We follow applicable OSHA Hazard Communication Standard requirements, 29 CFR 1910.1200, and relevant guidance or requirements of the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Department of Consumer Protection, and Department of Public Health.
Booking, Changing, or Cancelling a Visit
Appointments are arranged with you by phone, email, or another method we make available. We will confirm the scheduled time or arrival window and any preparation instructions that apply to the agreed work. Please provide access to the service areas and let us know about pets, occupants, access limits, or changes in pest activity before the visit.
If you need to cancel or change an appointment, contact us as soon as possible using the contact details below. Any cancellation fee or notice deadline applies only if it was disclosed and accepted when the appointment was booked.
If we cannot safely or reasonably perform the work because access is unavailable, conditions differ from those described, or required preparation is incomplete, we may ask to reschedule. We will seek your approval before adding work, treating additional areas, or changing the agreed service or price. A new appointment or scope change is not confirmed until we communicate the revised arrangement.
Written Quotes and Payment Terms
An estimate describes the work and price we understand you have requested, based on the information available and any inspection performed. It may identify target pests, service areas, treatment methods, and any stated limits.
If inspection reveals conditions that could change the work, we will explain the proposed change and its cost before proceeding. An estimate is not approval for work outside its described scope.
You authorize service by accepting the estimate or otherwise confirming the appointment and scope. Payment is due according to the timing stated in your estimate, invoice, or service agreement.
We do not promise a particular payment schedule unless it is provided to you in writing. Please raise billing questions promptly and include the service date and invoice details so we can review them.
Additional work requires your approval before it is performed, and any revised charge will be communicated for acceptance. No price, financing option, or payment term is created by these terms unless confirmed in writing.
What to Expect About Service Guarantees
The scope of each visit is the work described in your estimate or service agreement. These terms do not create a blanket workmanship warranty, guaranteed pest elimination, or promise that pests will not return. Results can depend on the pest, building conditions, access, sanitation, moisture, neighboring properties, and whether recommended steps are followed.
If a written agreement for your service states a warranty, retreatment period, or other service commitment, that document controls for the stated work and conditions. It should explain what is covered, how long coverage lasts, and how to request assistance.
Any stated coverage may not apply to pests, locations, or conditions outside that agreement, or where access is denied or required preparation is not completed. Contact us if you have a concern after service; we can review the service record and explain any applicable written terms. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot legally be waived.

Service Expert at Connecticut Pest Solutions
I built my pest-control experience in the Hartford area, where older homes, stone foundations, and changing seasons bring a steady mix of ant and rodent problems. I started this company to give Connecticut homeowners clear inspections, careful treatment plans, and straightforward advice about keeping pests out.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
We are responsible for performing the work we agreed to with reasonable care and in accordance with applicable requirements. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for a claim arising from a particular service is limited to the amount paid for that service. This limit does not apply where the law prohibits it, including applicable liability for intentional misconduct or other non-waivable claims.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, ongoing pest conditions outside the agreed scope, or losses caused by circumstances beyond the service we performed. We do not exclude responsibility for damage directly caused by our negligence where such exclusion is not allowed by law.
Pesticides must be applied according to their labeling and use requirements, and applicable Connecticut certification and product-registration rules include Connecticut General Statutes §§ 22a-54 and 22a-61. Applicable federal rules may include FIFRA, the EPA Worker Protection Standard (40 CFR Part 170), container and disposal requirements (40 CFR Part 165), and OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), where relevant. These terms do not replace those obligations.
Questions About These Service Terms
If you have a question about an estimate, appointment, service, or these terms, contact Connecticut Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@connecticutpestsolutions.top. You may also write to City Place I, 185 Asylum St, Hartford, CT. Please include your name, service address, and relevant appointment or invoice details so we can identify the matter.
We may update these terms from time to time. The current version will be made available through the place where these terms are published, and we will communicate material changes by an appropriate notice, such as an update on the website or a direct message when relevant to an active service arrangement.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise. Terms already accepted for a scheduled service remain subject to the agreement in place when you approved that work, unless you agree to a change.
If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
